Vasantrao Naik Arts, Commerce and Science College was established in Shahada in the year 1993 to fulfill the long felt desire and inspiration of the people in Nandurbar District as an institute of higher education.

                The library was started in the college during the year 1993 to achieve the objectives of teaching and to promote higher education which is the aim of establishing any college on educational institution.

         In the beginning the college library had a small collection of 685 books. And a small room was given for the library.

       The college library centrally situated and easily accessible to all the community of the college i.e. teachers, student and non-teaching staff has steadily grand over the years and has today nearly 13285 books include textbook and reference book and 18 journal and magazine, 04 newspaper available in the library.

        The library is attached with a reading room with the seating capacity of around 30 students. The library also provided a reference services. The reference section occurs a number of book, periodical, journal and magazines. It helps the teaching learning process.
